This is my VideoAnt project. I decided to do it on a scene of Big Fish. Great movie, but this is one of the sad parts :( Still one of my favorite scenes. Enjoy!
I really like how you point out that the camera moves with him from the top of the hill down to the bottom of the hill. Like you mentioned, this movement seems to mirror his life--being on "top of the world" to death. Also liked how you discussed music. Like camera angles, so often we feel a certain way about a scene because of the influence of the music...even if we are not consciously aware of the musical influence. Like you noted, it's interesting that the music shifts from serious to carnival based on the "phase" of his life. Makes me want to watch the movie!
